| Did Lego EVER make an axe head without their logo on it? I got these from a
bricklink store, one with Lego logo came from a LOTR set, with less speckling.
The one with more speckles from a bricklink store. Any weapons experts? Please
help i won't be selling fake lego not ever!
There is what looks like a hyphenated number on the one without Lego stamp

perhaps. i looked at mine and they have all sorts of variations of the locations
of markings and was able to find 3 or 4 different setups. unfortunately, i only
had a few in speckle black but those ones from all of them had the fewest markings

The colour variation could just be because of the year that it was produced.

| Yeah i'm not concerned with the color variation, just the lack of the logo.
but it does have a number stamped on it could be 10-08 but not sure

Yes. The earliest ones that I have do have the copyright symbol © on one side,
though.

The speckling can vary because of age or light. I'm not sure what causes
it, but the speckling pattern can become worn or mottled with time.
I still have axe heads from Viking Fortress against the Fafnir Dragon 7019.
They have the circle "C" on one side and a number on the other. The earliest
versions of this piece did not have LEGO imprint.
