WOW!! Thank you. Fairly certain I was destined to be a detective in one of these
lives. I used some deductive reasoning to narrow down a year range, scanned
the Star Wars sets from about 2000-2002, and this one was just glaring at me.
What an amazing and fun set for a kid to enjoy! Nice pick, Dad…

Thanks. At that time, I knew very little of Star Wars and even less of Lego,
having never had Lego as a kid myself.
But in Sweden where my son was, Lego was an every-child type of thing, more part
of the culture it seemed to me. So Lego it was... Truth be told, he really enjoyed
his cast metal cars and trucks most. We built the set together, and I remember
having trouble with the door gun turret assemblies. My at the time 7 year old
son, quickly corrected my failing attempt without making his dad feel less about
it too Very intelligent from a young age, as mentioned

A 638 part set is a big leap for a first Lego set. I'm impressed popsicle,
