It seems that after 24hrs the “incomplete” payment attempts change status to
“cancelled” on Stripe.

| I was just thinking about adding Stripe payments this year to my store. Sounds
like now might be a bad time. Do any of the stores know if its a Bricklink or
Stripe problem? Since it seems to be happening in different places, I would think
Bricklink issue?

Stripe is a charm for us for I don't know, maybe 10 years?
Never ANY problem, and cheaper.

Thanks for the info, I will wait until next week and see if there is an update
by then. I guess I never considered Stripe until recently because Paypal lets
you use other credit/debit accounts that you can link and at one point I think
everyone had a paypal account. I suppose it is time for my little store to adjust
to the current times lol

Nice try. Haven't heard from help desk for any of our bug reports, neither
this one nor the PayPal refund issue. Since there is no separate HelpDesk site
anymore, all went into a blackhole without anyway to follow up ☹

Yes, this is a known problem: Payment fails to go through, Bricklink reserves
the items anyway, buyer is unable to try again because the items now show up
as out of stock. We've had several buyers message us about this.
Outside of Bricklink we never have problems with Stripe. The only times the payment
fails is when the buyer aborted it. So I don't know why it happens sometimes,
but it's clearly a Bricklink problem.
