Part No: 4010px1 Name: Duplo Cow Adult with Solid Black Eyes Pattern
*
4010px1 Duplo Cow Adult with Solid Black Eyes Pattern
Parts: DUPLO, Animal {Dark Orange}

The part in that photo is 13 Red Orange. The black-eyed variant was retired between
1990 and 1991. 38 Dark Orange was introduced in 1994.

The question remains: What color is the cow in set 2445? No idea. However, if
you look closely enough, you'll notice that the cow is the white-eyed variant.
The horse also appears to be the same post-1990 version. This one is tough, as
1994 was a transition year from old 70s colors to new 90s colors, and 13 Red
Orange remained on the palette until 2001.

This set is extremely difficult to find new.

the white-eyed variant

There is no difference between these two.
All variants are the same.
Even if there is an imagined or supposed difference, it is unimportant.

You will forget about it.

@catalog admin,

These might be worth looking at.

Photo 1 is a better photo of the box. 4010pb01 was added to the catalog after
this set was inventoried, so I think this set was simply forgotten about after
the new entry was made.

Photo 2 is the only available evidence with the original box and cardboard insert.
I don't think we're going to find anything else out there. This belongs
to a listing that is no longer available, as the link doesn't lead to the
listing.

The cow in that photo is Dark Orange.

Picture 2 is an almost hidden cow in an opened box sold as "New" on eBay.
See item: 156000152927

That's a clue, but maybe not a proof.
Anyway, just me...

Normally, used sets aren't used to make inventory changes, but exceptions
have been made. I believe there's a help page/forum post somewhere expanding
on this. Unfortunately, these old DUPLO sets are notoriously hard to find sealed.
I'm going to make a few emails. Thanks for the help.
