Okay, so I have to ship my first order to the EU since this prepaid VAT system
was put in place.

I have filled out the customs form on the USPS web site, but there doesn't
seem to be any way to provide the IOSS number. I know that it needs to transmitted
electronically.

Surely I can't be the first in the US to encounter this issue? Can any US
based sellers let me know how they provided this information?

TIA,

Andy

Use Pirate Ship - I don't know if you can do it via the USPS web site.

Thanks. I was not familiar with Pirate Ship. How is it possible that this prepaid
VAT system was implemented without the two most popular shipping applications
(USPS Click n Ship, Paypal Shipstation) not supporting it?

It was implemented because it's EU marketplace law. One might just as well
ask why Click n Ship and PayPal ShipStation don't support the law.

USPS - I have no idea. If I were to hazard a guess it would be because most people
who need that functionality use online services that already have it, like Piratesjip.

Shipstation does support it if you have a paid monthly subscription. The free
and crippled PayPal version of Shipstation does not.
