* Add 1 Part 3062a Trans-Green Brick, Round 1 x 1 Solid Stud
* Add 15 Part 3062a Trans-Red Brick, Round 1 x 1 Solid Stud

Comments from Submitter:
Instructions, pr photos and other inventories show the parts to be the solid stud versions. Incorrectly listing this widely awailable part in your inventory opens an oportunity for fraud, as sellers can substitute the rare original part, with a common part and claim a set to be "complete" defrauding the buyer

Why are there two versions of this part on BrickLink? It is unnecessary to have
both solid stud and open stud versions of the part. These variants should be
merged into a single catalog entry for the sake of convenience.

Incorrectly listing this widely available part in your inventory opens an opportunity for fraud, as sellers can substitute the rare original part, with a common part and claim a set to be "complete" defrauding the buyer

Having checked photos of many copies of space classic sets including 928, 924,...that
were released in 1979 and having bought many copies of these sets from first
owner, I can tell ALL copies of these sets came with round 1x1 bricks with open
stud. TLG began to produce round bricks with open stud since 1978 to replace
with the variant with solid stud. The years 1978-80 were the transition time,
because TLG wanted to first use all his stock of variant with open stud, and
then use the later variant with open stud, so all this depended on the color,
how many of which color they had in stock,...

Since the box art and instructions were designed before TLG designed and produced
the variant with open stud, they show the variant with solid stud. The other
inventories like that of peeron.com were created by Lego fans using only the
instructions and they were never checked with sealed copies of sets. I think
other websites copies their inventories from peeron.com too.

I have photos of some classic space sets in which we can see round brick with
open stud. I even own a sealed 924 inside which there is a catalog from 1979
(so the set was produced in 1979 and not 1980 or later).
If you have photos of a sealed 928 that came with solid stud version, please
share.

If you even find 15 of

Part No: 3062a Name: Brick, Round 1 x 1 - Solid Stud, Bottom Lip
*
3062a Brick, Round 1 x 1 - Solid Stud, Bottom Lip
Parts: Brick, Round {Trans-Red}
together, that is something to consider But this part is so rare.

So the inventory is correct as it is, and nobody has been committing any fraud
neither.
