Just got a message from a buyer who has a 90+ feedback, so not a rookie:

Hi, I wanted to reach out and let you know that PayPal isn't processing
on my transaction through the BrickLink "Pay Now" button. I've tried
about 5 times between multiple devices with no results. Is there any chance that
I could process the order by sending the money through PayPal itself?


Any thoughts on why it wouldn't be working? Please don't respond about
accepting payments outside of the Bricklink PayPal button; I am well aware of
the issues with that. Just looking to find out why they may not be able to currently
pay.

seems to be an issue going around

there have been multiple similar threads. I dont know of any solution right now
tho but you are right in not accepting it offsite due to tax reasons. the 1 solution
I can think of would be to add stripe as a payment option and have the buyer
pay that way

Most important question is: while this, could other buyers successfully paid
PayPal in your shop?
I mean, did you receive other order(s) payment(s) that went fine?

Also, can this buyer pay using PayPal in another shop?

I spent the afternoon making a diagnostic with one of the sellers having this
kind of problem (what's Nubs talking about in his reply).

We tried/resetted everything.

Discovered this seller couldn't be paid but neither pay using his PayPal.

So, in this case, cannot receive payment and cannot pay could indicate the problem
is PayPal, not BrickLink.
He'll call them tomorrow morning.

Again, questions are:
* could other buyers successfully paid PayPal in your shop?
* can this buyer pay using PayPal in another shop?

I recently had two buyers who couldn’t pay with PayPal.
They didn’t tell me any error codes or messages though.

I went to settings
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/mystore/payments.page
And disconnected PayPal, and then reinstalled PayPal.
This seemed to work as the next order went through.

Could be coincidence or correlation. I don’t know at this point.
