| When I open BrickStore and try to update the database I get a error message that
states "Could not load new database: download and decompress failed: Connection
timed out". Anyone else getting this message?
Jim.

| Forgot to mention that I tried on 2 different computers. I downloaded the newest
version and still the database issue and I even tried installing an older version
of BrickStore to see if the older versions have the same problem and they do.

Yes, I confirm same here.
Sometimes it happens, it's a free service and server at our disposal
As by default the DB is updated often (7 days maybe?) it's rare you need
a so fresh one.
Simply be patient.

TL;DR: The version doesn't matter - the datacenter hosting the server with
the database has routing problems. Nothing I can do about it, but should hopefully
be up and running again shortly.

That's unfortunate
Can I ask for a refund of BrickStore?
I played with it for less than 2 hours, I swear!

Thanks for letting us know and as a side note: I just wanted to say THANK YOU
SO VERY MUCH!!! Thank you for keeping BrickStore up and running and constantly
making it better by adding more features. I really love and appreciate this software
(especially being able to update Remarks without needing to change anything else).
I cant imaging having a store on BrickLink without it.
To top it all off you offer it free of charge but for anyone interested, on BrickStore's
GitHub page there is a "Sponsor" link where we can help to keep BrickStore
going.
Again, thanks for keeping BrickStore going. Jim.

UPDATE: Just had a call with their support: the general routing problem on their
side was fixed hours ago, but somehow my server instance still has problems.
They are working on it now.

UPDATE 2: the datacenter guys were hopeful to get it fixed until this evening
(CET), but it's (obviously) still not working. Let's hope they get to
it tomorrow morning...

We are still having an issue with Brickstore even now that the database is downloading
properly.
When we try to close a file we have open, it won't close just that file,
it closes the entire program.
Also we can no longer select a file from the open documents menu, we have to
go to the top of the open file and use the pull down menu to switch between files.
We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, we have also installed the latest
update to our macbook and still its not working. Any suggestions?

I had an issue trying to load my store inventory for backup, seems there's
two items in my store that can't be reconciled. One I think I know, but the
other... ? Frustrating.

Click on Extras - Developer console, there should appear the 2 items it can't
match.
