| Is it an idea to also add to the sets how many were produced by Lego?
Can we find these quantities somewhere?

I'm pretty sure that's highly confidential.

Mhm but you can sometimes get vague estimates. For example in the last month
the one lego set on Amazon USA alone sold something like 60k copies in its first
month along so if you tracked that number for a few years then added in like
10-20 or so minimum for each Walmart and similar stores in the USA then do %
estimates similar for other countries you could get a really rough estimate

You can inquire through the contact form on the official LEGO website. They will
respond with any information they want to make known to the public.
As for the production of the sets, if it's recent or current production sets,
they might make additional production runs if there is demand for a popular set.
The LEGO Group intentionally avoids producing certain colors in certain quantities
due to the fact that a few MOC collectors like to create scenes involving military
vehicles that The LEGO group does not want to see made in LEGO elements.
They therefore will not be likely to respond with specific production statistics
for a certain set and will not produce elements in colors you desire, if it would
infringe on their policies regarding the above paragraph.
It's better not to ask, there are certain themes for MOC creations that The
LEGO Group does not like to see produced.
Just my observations and what I remember about their policies.
Cheers ...

That seems totally irrelevant for the question asked. And LEGO lost that battle
years ago. There are thousands of MOCs depicting modern warfare, whether it is
tanks, military vehicles or life size guns.

It's still their policy to make certain key elements very expensive to acquire.
Nobody will be producing a legitimate tank set that would sell a lot of copies
any time soon.
That is what the aim of their policy is, and so far I have not seen anyone offering
large quantities of custom designed tank vehicles in genuine LEGO elements.
If you wish to refute that, go ahead. I know for sure what The LEGO Group intended,
and so far it has stayed that way.

I recently attended a webinar by the Lego Group on demand forecasting (which
is very interesting in itself!). In it, they used an example of one of the larger
botanical collection sets (like 10280) where they produced over two million of
them. So that gives a sense of scale of just one example set!

Thanks for sharing, that set now is parted out or for sale here less than a 0,003%
of total production.
It matches something I heard face to face from a Lego employee 2 years ago that
said the Adult market was the 0.1% of their market... Puts Bricklink into perspective.
