I recently picked up a bulk lot of used parts that had some Star Wars set but
I wasn't sure what was included. There was a windscreen so I tried using
the "Appears In" search to help me narrow it down and identify the set.
The problem is that the number on the part (35345) is not in the BL inventory.
I was able to determine that the set was Anakin's Jedi Starfighter
Needs adding as an alternative part number for 87752.

That was my thought. Am I missing something on the Add/Change page? I'm
not seeing an entry to add an alternate part number.

Not done this before myself, you may have to post under catalogue requests here
on the forum.
I’m sure someone will advise.

I'll just move the thread to "Catalog" and we'll go from there.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the reply Nubs has written pretty much matches what is in
the Help Center topic and that it should be submitted through the forum mentioned
in the article.

Looks like someone has made the update. Thanks everyone.

I was able to determine that the set was Anakin's Jedi Starfighter
, but I'm hesitant
to submit a inventory update. Can anyone else confirm this part number?
Forgot to submit this one. 35345 is the MABS part number. 87752 is the polycarbonate
part number.
I Googled them both and the polycarbonate version has the following problem to
be aware of:
--
What is the problem with polycarbonate plastic?
The presence of BPA in polycarbonate has raised concerns about its potential
impact on the environment. BPA can leach out of polycarbonate products, such
as water bottles and food containers, and contaminate soil and water. BPA has
been found in waterways and marine environments, where it can harm aquatic organisms.

While I appreciate all LEGO elements, sadly, some of them may wind up contaminating
our environment. If anyone is disposing of LEGO elements that are not fit for
resale or are no longer usable, please ensure that their plastic is sent to recycling
centers that will recycle or to a landfill that will bury it in an appropriately
lined pit where the contaminants will be contained and not leach out into the
environment.
I personally prefer the recycling option, although a lot of it will end up in
landfill and cause issues for future generations. Hopefully they'll have
some advanced technology ready to solve our waste issues for their society.
