| Is it possible to tell if you have orders via a third-party website on BL? My
store on another platform is mostly sales through Rebrickable but I have never
seen or paid(that I know of)any fee to a third party on BL. To me, that is strange
since BL is way more popular. And yes, my affiliation box is checked. Thanks!
Happy New Year to a great community!

Do you pay fees to Rebrickable for your sales on that other platform?
I don't know of any way to tell where your sales are coming from.

Yes, you can clearly see the fee on the other site paid to Rebrickable. On BL,
I cannot see where my sales are coming from. The only fee I see is to BL.

I can confirm this.
Most likely your talking about the owl in the room.
Also there are far more analitic data to look at.
Like a chart on your inventory sales and order count.
Current people with a active cart (past 7 days).
Also it is more flexible with payment method setup on stripe.
There is also data on how fast a seller actually ships and response on average,
altough that part is in Beta testing.
I do wish for these data and other things to be more similar on BL.
Best wishes for 2023

You can using a referral ID:
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=674
Sadly Affiliate orders don't come with this data.

I have 2 referral IDs (given by Dan).
At this time the referrer (or referer, never know, because the famous http rfc
error)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_referer
... was added and shown at the bottom of the order page ("decrypted"
with the name you gave), so you knew if someone used it.
Since few years ago, maybe 10, I don't remember, it's not appearing anymore
so I don't see any useful reason to use it
That'd really something that'd help especially with YouTube and social
networks where you'd give those links.
No idea why that was disabled, sincerely.
