| Eventually and after 6+ months of preparation and testing, and a Stack Overflow
question of a really tough problem... this PC's migrated (few days ago) on
Windows 10!
Hopefully they'll cut us some slack... because Windows 10 support is supposed
to end in 2025 - that's almost next year 
Fun fact, I still have a VM with the exact initial Windows XP I used when I registered
BrickLink 
To share this event, I'm making a casual contest on forum: find the answer
and get 50€ of FREE order + its up to 500g FREE shipping, worldwide!
Double question:
* Which was the name of the very first Application (apart Windows itself,
D'oh) installed on my now obsolete PC Windows 7?
* As more than one person may find the name, please also give the date
(day/month if possible, or clearly differentiating) when this application
was installed in 2014...

03/04, I'll interpret it as day/month (yeah, French style)
* as a proof, I will post the screen copy of the Windows settings showing the
first installed apps in chronological order, showing the dates of course
* the price is an order credit in our shop for 50€ + 500g shipping cost to your
Country
* sorry, but no member's account with 0 (ZERO) Feedback Profile, or double
account (if we can be aware of)
* you will have to use our "Invoice me manually" Shipping Method so I
can credit the amount, and mention the contest in message so I know it's

* no heavy things like Baseplates, Duplo, Instructions..., this is supposed to
be casual - and avoid 100+ lots for the same reason
* you're of course welcome to order for more, in this case I'll credit

| Hi lads and gents, contest's closed!
I'll check carefully, but I don't think anyone find the answer.
When I install a new "production" PC, the VERY VERY first thing I install
after the system is stabilized (install, drivers, devices all clean, updates...)
is always the most important applications I'll use for work, to see
how well they behave on this new system, especially those in relation with the
new graphic card, etc.
This even before Firefox (I exclusively use), Thunderbird, even before anti-virus
and so on.
Because if those applications don't work as expected (or at all), then it's
not worth keeping on as is, something must change (or I revert to the old system
the time I find a solution or acquire the new device).
As an example, see this problem on MAC - I wouldn't work on this system if
studio is not working:

So, in 2014 the first Application I installed was...

LEGO Digital Designer
I still love this application, congratulations LEGO!
Later on you'll see Steam was the second (as I needed to see if no device
problem), then some more LEGO apps, MLCad and such (from memory), you'll
see the screen copy.
I took note about BrickStore and BrickStock replies, they were very close - but
in general Graphic card isn't a problem for them, so, no, I don't install
them right away.
As it seems nobody found, I guess I'll give the price to simply the closest
installation date, leave me some time to check your replies.
If you've any idea on how to price (better?) the contest, let me know?

Sorry for the late reply I took a few days off for Christmas with the family
