| What happened to 'Featured Items'? It was a magnet that kept me coming
frequently back to the Bricklink site. In the past it was updated frequently
and featured popular items.
My suggestion is that Featured Items
o Gets updated nearly daily
o Presents new items, items suddenly increasing in popularity, & top sellers
o Avoids a screenful of similar or closely related items

Increase the site's magnetism? Can't argue with that. Could start featuring:

in that spot...
Though that would likely have the magnetic pole-to-pole effect, and repel even
more from the site

Interesting you noticed this. 
For about a year and a half now we have been tinkering with this feature, improving
the visual appear, fixing bugs, and making sure that all three prinicipal Item
Types are being cycled through.
Normally, a new "deck" is uploaded every Friday afternoon for all three
Item Types. We likely missed it this past week due to Friday being a holiday.
But I will pass on your regards to the person who is curating those slots. They
are one of the new AFOLs we have hired into our team, and IMO they really do
keep that space interesting.
