That makes sense. I haven't encountered the lore of STAR parts yet so the
first reference was lost on me.

Reminds me of a comedy sketch from the Morecambe and Wise show where the Roman
standard had Luton instead of SPQR.
Eric Morecambe always worked his favourite football team into one of their sketches
during the show.

It’s been hard sorting used bricks as I have to check every single part for the
logo or to ensure it’s authentic. Adds a lot of time to the process but you find
the clones hiding here and there.

The only reference to these that I’ve found suggested it may originate here in
the U.K. but they weren’t sure.
