For years we have been printing invoices for clients and we 'Double Check'
/ tick them to ensure we have the parts correct. We view the invoice, and from
the print screen 'Scale' set to 60% - this seems to give us the best
size text for printing with the least paper being used. Sorry for the long description
below....
Before around lunch time today (Australian Time), This would work perfectly (both
print preview and on paper), with the words 'Orders Received / Order Number
XXXXXXX' in the top
left corner, then under that the BL Invoice Border Line and on the side the BL
invoice order line is approx 1cm from the sides of the paper; then the order
header then the parts list with the Parts Picture showing on the far left of
the page next to the left invoice border line; the dimensions / weight on the
far Right side of the page next to the invoice boarder line and the rest spaced
nicely in between. Perfect and good spacing for us to tick in and all easy to
read.
Now (again using the Scale 60%) the 'Orders Received / Order Number XXXXXXX'
is still in exactly the same place, and the top BL border is in the same place,
however the left and right hand BL invoice order lines have a 5cm gap / margin
and Items in order / text although the same size as previous is all squished
together. In short it no longer uses the entire width of the page; leaving two
long empty 5cm gaps down each side (except the 'Orders Received' bit
in the same place top left.
To see the difference (and this is really weird) on Firefox (the normal browser
we use) if you toggle the dot between the Print Scale 'Fit To Page Width'
and Scale: 60% for a split second it shows the original version I was taking
about on the screen with the borders on the edges but then quickly reverts back
the new version / way it looks. Kinda hard to describe, but just try it in Firefox
if you use that.
We have tried 3 browsers on two computers going to two different network printers
and can confirm there have been no windows updates or print driver updates since
the change, so I believe something has changed in the code.
I know not a lot of stores print invoices and I think a lot that do just print
at 100% but it will be a real bummer if this stays the way it is now as the original
way was perfect. I don't know if anyone else is having this same problem.
Sorry for the lengthy email, I will blank out details and upload pictures to
show the difference if need be.
We are having the same issues. We're in the United States, all was fine
yesterday, this morning, the invoice is "squished" to the center of the
page with large margins on the sides. No matter of tweaking has corrected the
issue. We are on a Mac, using two different computers, using firefox.
Hoping for a fix.

100% i thought it was my printer. Glad not just me. Im assuming this was an unintended
change since maintenance. So i hope it is reverted back to normal. The scaling/margins
are way off!!

I have the same issue. If you use a scale print of 117% the border lines up under
"Orders Received" and there is no gap on the right side.
There was a different printing issue about a month ago:

There was a different printing issue about a month ago:
So, there is this weird printing error that cuts off a part of the orders when
zooming in.
I fixed it.
I opened the console looking through the style settings i found this and changed
Static to Center.
and voila I could zoom in with no problem of cutting off or that weird white
stripe at the side
Maybe the people that program this site could fix this for every one?
It's a bit of a hassle to do this for every order.
