| I have a minifigure (tlm142) that I recently purchased locally (used). The print
on the figure is in perfect condition with the exception of the silver pattern.
At an angle you can see where it should be. It's almost as if the "ink"
ran out before it was printed.
Could this be a misprint? Any value?
I have other tlm minis from the same seller that have the silver pattern in perfect
condition.

| Pigments are hard to keep consistent, especially via a printer - unless it is
aleays being agitated.

Photos are always a good way for us to compare what items should look like and
what the item actually looks like.
As for value, it's only as valuable as someone is prepared to pay and it's
probably of limited interest to the majority, but a collector of misprints might
consider it. But not without images

| Here are some images comparing the mini in question to another with the same
pattern.
Thoughts?

Looks like it got wiped… but that’s easier to do on the back where there’s no
other print.

Maybe a little something got applied that didn't have any dye in it. I can't
imagine someone going through the trouble of removing the silver ink from the
front - that would be very intricate work.

| It's stamped without ink which is why you can see print outline on the torso
happens when the printed runs out of silver ink!
The silver is the first layer of print so its pretty cool that the remaining
print was completed and quality control didn't notice
I added a pic of the different print stages from my collection.
list it for $75ono

The chances of finding BOTH the torso and legs without print must be astronomically
low. They are not printed as an assembled figure.

There is also silver remaining around the top

| I have something like this. A Darth Malgus torso. It’s missing the entire upper
half of its printing.
