| Hello there! (An apt intro for this set haha). I recently was parting out several
copies of set 75333, Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter, and noticed that
in my Brickstore file the database was suggesting that I had 6 count of part
4073 Trans-Bright Green Plate, Round 1 x 1 (a stud) per copy of the set, but
I only actually had a quantity of 4 per set (this is including all extras that
were in the set). I have come to conclude that the Bricklink inventory for this
should be updated to include only 4 of this part, whether it be 2 regular and
2 extra or just 4 regular and no extra, but obviously, I don't have permission
to do that. My sample size was decent (11 set copies) and every single one only
had 4 count total. Additionally, I found a few speed build or similar videos
that have an onscreen opening of all the bags, and you can pretty clearly see
that there are only 4 of this part in every video. I'll link one example
below, the part only appears in the smaller bag of bag 3. Hopefully, someone
can get this fixed soon before anyone accidentally uploads an incorrect qty to
their store. Thank you!

Extra parts are not guaranteed and can vary so sellers should be checking whether
they have extra parts (or exclude extras if they are being lazy) before uploading.

been produced to contain is 4, not 6 like Bricklink currently has. I’ve been
around long enough to know that Bricklink generally has the numbers right in
terms of parts and extras and sellers tend to expect it now as such. Just trying
to help out here because I know this set never contained 6 of this part. Yes
extras are not guaranteed, however, in the 11 copies I parted out, 10 had 4 of
the piece, and one only had 3, telling me that 2 or 3 is the baseline, and the
extras only bring the count up to a maximum of 4.

The first submitter is in UK. Their box must have been made in EU.
Yours must have been made in America.
Different factories, different Extras.
It also appears they may have been lucky because the parts only come in the last
bag, and in an even quantity, so the modern bagging processes would make it 0
Extras (these parts are added/counted by pair)… but, OTOH, they are projectiles,
easily lost, so maybe LEGO decided to “force” the Extras there, and, still with
modern bagging processes, that would make it 2 Extras (and not 1 like with the
older process).
Lastly, about “obviously, I don't have permission to do that” in your first
message: anyone can submit a change request.

Simply: there’s two links at the bottom of the inventory page: one that opens
the correct form, and one to show the inventory items IDs you need to fill the
form.

The instructions indicate there are four. Step 107 indicates all four are used,
with two loaded and two ready to use. So if you found 3, maybe you were shorted,
or made an error parting out, or dropped one, or left one in a bag.

I'm almost certain the first copy of this set that I parted out had six.
Later ones have definitely had only four.

| Yeah, It's probably something that was later changed or something that
is region-based like previously mentioned. I have a good friend who has a copy
of it from over a year ago (still in the US though), I'll see what that set
has in it.
