| I just found out that the weight of this pin in the new modification is significantly
different from the old one, the old pin has a weight of around 0.16g but the
new pin has a weight of 0.2g which already when weighing about 1000 pieces is
a significant difference in the number of pins 200- 250 pieces. And even in terms
of weight, it can have an effect on the cost of shipping, when buying more of
these pins, I thought of dividing them, as is the case with other modifications
of the form, on the other hand, there are so many of them that, of course, no
one will want to sort them out, what about by that?
The new pin with a weight of 0.2g has a lego mark on the side with a number,
see photo.

It almost looks like there is a different Design-ID marked on it. Hard to make
it out from the photo, but looks like 61332 or 64332 ? Can you check multiple
of them and tell us the actual number ?

| I sorted out about 9 kg of pins, about 1.4 kg are shinier, so they are easier
to recognize than the other 2 types, the stamped number is 61332.
anyway, I noticed weight differences for all types, the old type with a weaker
wall weighs about 0.15g with a thick wall 0.19g and the new type with a stamped
number 0.2g, I am attaching photos from the weighing.
note: I always weighed 10 pieces of each type

The newer ones weigh more because they don't have the center slots.

| more functional differences (here starts the usual forum disagreements)
new 2780 vs old 2780: when poked, new mould don't roll out of table, it stops
all by itself. "anti roll notch" for the win
any 2708 vs 4459: 4459 is concrete-like. a pain to remove from bricks. And if
you ever used them to join holed bricks, poor you. 1 is hard, 2 is rock solid,
3 is Heracles labour. 3 pins and it's game over. talk about "pinned in
place"

The weight of the item was increased to 0.2g (rechecked by myself) to compensate
for the newer, heavier version of the part that does not have the center slots.
The weight of the prior version of the part was added as an additional note.
