Set No: 9090  Name: Large Duplo Basic Set (XL Brick Set) {Undetermined Version}
*
9090-1 Large Duplo Basic Set (XL Brick Set) {Undetermined Version}
1993
Sets: Educational & Dacta: DUPLO: Basic Set
Marked for Deletion

This set is listed as released in 1993, but the note specifies that the set inventory
is from the 2009 version. This pretty problematic, as it causes a lot of modern
colors - orange, medium blue, reddish brown, lime etc. - to be listed as found
in 1993, which is obviously plain inaccurate. Why is this not split into a 9090-1
for the 1993 version, and 9090-2 for the 2009 version (and etc. for whatever
known versions there are)?

I agree. You should add a 1993 version of the set so that it will be split into
2 different versions.

Mhm. Even if we don't know the inventory for the 1993 version, there's
still countless other obscure products in the catalog that have not been inventorized.

I agree with you and wanted to let you know that I'm working on it.
It's not just these colors that are shown to be released in 1993, but also
some parts that were released after 1993 and minifigures that were released in
2004.

Imo the regular inventory represents a 2004 version of this set, because of the
minifigures and the reddish brown ladder. The problem is that we will probably
never find a 1993 version and a version around 1998 when parts / colors were
replaced. But imo it wouldn't be a problem to add a second version without
having an inventory.

Thanks,
Diana
