Any chance we could see this here? Considering it hit 10,000 not just once but
twice.... Shoe the car people some love.
Hi,
First, the programme is not “invitational” any more. Anybody can submit. That
means BrickLink won’t contact a designer to include their MOC in the programme
like it was done previously. It’s for the designers to decide to submit their
designs in the BDP.
That means any brand, trademark, recognizable design or character is fo.
That includes:
— LEGO’s own IP: NINJAGO, DREAMzz, etc.
— IP LEGO already has a licence for: Star Wars, Batman, etc.
— And (even more) IP LEGO doen’t have a licence: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
(which is the intellectual property of, I guess, Ian Flemming’s estate and United
Artists (part of MGM, part of Amazon)).
The only exceptions are the use of some old LEGO IP: the Lion and Falcon medieval
factions and Classic Space (astronauts and ship liveries).
