I usually don’t ship abroad, but a buyer asked me whether I could send some bricks.
I already created a Bypass Password which should enable the buyer in a non-shipping
country to order from my shop. But the buyer tells me that there is nowhere to
type this password in. What am I missing?

Did you create a shipping method for their country? Just a password will not
cut it.
