Hello,

I have found a new mold number for

Part No: 17486 Name: Leg Mechanical, Droid with Technic Pin - Short with Round Pin Hole
*
17486 Leg Mechanical, Droid with Technic Pin - Short with Round Pin Hole
Parts: Minifigure, Body Part
in set

Set No: 75357 Name: Ghost & Phantom II
*
75357-1 (Inv) Ghost & Phantom II
1373 Parts, 5 Minifigures, 2023
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars Ahsoka

It is molded 51066. I don't have a 17486 to compare with. Can anyone who
has it please post some detailed images here so we can compare? The only difference
may be the pin shape.

Thanks,
~Jen

ps. Someone should tell LEGO that Chopper (very notably) has two different-colored
legs.

Well, not a lot, but enough. We just watched it all the way through to prepare
for Ahsoka. It was a much better series than I had been expecting.

I didn't like the Rebels show too much but Ahsoka is pretty cool. It has
a lot more of a Star Wars feel about it than the recent shows like Andor which
barely even had any aliens. I really like the Baylon Skoll and Marrok characters
and how they made the red light-sabers have some orange in them. Plus I just
sold my

Pretty sure it is just the updated pin hole shape, just like

Part No: 30362 Name: Leg Mechanical, Droid with Technic Pin
*
30362 Leg Mechanical, Droid with Technic Pin
Parts: Minifigure, Body Part

And, yes, Chopper should have different-colored ambulatory struts. (Not that
Chopper didn't try to solve that problem...)

Is it 1.6 x 1.6 x 1.6 cm and 0.7 gram?

Attached image shows the old one on the right, wich is the photo from BrickLink.

Like Randy said it's a squared pinhole, instead of a round pinhole and the
pin is turned around, like

32138 Technic, Pin Double with Axle Hole
Parts: Technic, Pin

Part No: 65098 Name: Technic, Pin Double with Axle Hole with Squared Pin Holes
*
65098 Technic, Pin Double with Axle Hole with Squared Pin Holes
Parts: Technic, Pin

The mid section of the old 17486 is higher, top section lower.

Second image is from:

I didn't find images of the bottom, but these are a lot of differences already.

Yes, the profile does look different. I've ordered a 17486 for a better comparison.
