You may want to change this line
“ I am not responsible for lost packages that do not have tracking and insurance
attached to them.”
As sellers are fully responsible for delivery even if insurance or tracking are
not purchased as insurance is for the seller not the buyer

do you know why nearly all newbie sellers have this exact line in their terms?

Hmmm when I first started I also had it in my terms and I think my reasoning
was it made sense at a surface level but once I gave it more thought I realized
it dosnt make sense so I changed it and I assume a combination of that along
with many buyers seeing it in the terms of stores they buy at just assume that’s
how it is

Why do you thank me? I did not give you any input 
But here is one (and I should review my own terms too, make lots of changes...):
You wrote
$0.50 handling fees
Then shipping costs for up to 100gr is ....
for 200gr is ...
So do you expect people read everything, do some math like
0.94 + 0.5 - sq(2) all multiplied by exp(1/4) ...
Make it simple:
Shipping and handling fees (no other fees. This is all you will pay):
up to 100gr $2.44
up to 200gr $3.44
...
If you want to charage handling fees $4, fine, as long as you make it clear and
simple.
By the way, what you will pay for 100gr mailer is more than 1.94gr. I think it
is $2.04 after taxes.

Is this a rhetorical question? It is weird how all the new stores - at
least the ones that post in the forum - have this phrase or something very
similar in their terms. I had just assumed that they found another store's
terms that they liked and were copying from it.
