Hi, is there a way to update the price of items in your inventory based on the
price guide (for example based on avg last 6 montsh sale price) ...

I have imported several items into my store (mass upload using xml file) but
they all have the same price and i want to set these to more realistice values.

thx koen

I do not want to lookup each item in the price guide and update it manually that
is way to much work. During the mass upload the tag was required... so
i set them all to 1.

noticed that export to brickstore / re-import might be an option - are there
any facilities in bl itself to set the price of something you upload based on
the price guide ..

ok did quick export to brickstore , updated to price guide and, exported and
imported xml and that looks ok - would be nice if bl has such function - maybe
as part of the mass upload when no is specified it could set it to the
guide

I hope you did a muss update from Brickstore and not a mass upload (in that case
you added all inventory again and doubled everything).

If that should happen I will recommend to multiply the quantity for all lots
in the file in Brickstore you uploaded by minus one and upload again. By this
all the extra lots ans quantities will be withdrawn from your inventory. You
can then change the quantity back to positive figures and do the mass update
in stead of the mass upload.

I would recommend though to close your store during these quite drastic manipulations
as any new order during the process might cause a lot of troubles.

Hi, yes store closed and emptied first before upload.. in the process of reopening
so that was no issue for me.

I have parted out a few sets but i also added the parts of some purchasing bl
orders to my inventory (for that i put them on the watchlist - do export - edit
teh xml in xls - and import). Als generated an xml file for a set that has not
been parted out yet based on the csv downloaded from brickset. the latter 2
actions resulted in lacking price guide info - therefore my questions .. reg
