I would like to suggest to improve the parts search service from my inventory.
in the section min price - max price you can only enter whole unit type 1 or
2 or 3 euro.
if it became possible to also set a search of the type between 0.05 and 0.12
for example for us sellers it would be of great help
Thanks in advance
Tania
Hi,
Input fields generally accept decimals on BrickLink. (I can’t test this one
in particular because I’ve on idea where it is )
You should be able to enter a comma.
If that doesn’t work, try a point/period.
If that still doesn’t work, try another browser.
And if nothing works, make a report (detailling everything you tried, OS and
browsers included) in the Technical Issues topic (because that’d be a bug).

The fields for "Min Price" and "Max Price" don't accept decimals.
This seems to be a coding/logic bug, since the fields for "Qty" and "Bulk"
don't, either (as they should).
My inventory being empty, there’s no search fields for me on that page
Some pages are like that: no contents means some features aren’t there, like
the link to download your orders when you don’t have active ones….
I was asking for tests because there’s been fields for which it was dependant
on the browser (and the locale).
(Though that’d still be a problem with the code of the site, just not the same.)

Yep, if no one can enter decimals then it’s a bug.
(Why didn’t anyone complained before? No one uses this feature?)

If you want, you can add some items to the stockroom to use the search feature.

Not working for me in Firefox, Safari, or Google Chrome.

I'm pretty sure I've seen people complaining about this before in the
forum, but I can't find the right search terms.
It seems to be the same users complaining about the issue, so the issue could
be user-specific, or it could simply be that not many people use this feature.

Ah, I didn’t remember the exact field. I thought it was another seller feature.
I only test buyer stuff
There was an older thread about the Wanted List add dialog, which was dependant
on the browser (I remember testing it). (But WL is “new” code, not spaghetti
copy-pasta.)
…and I already participated last time too and moved the thread to Technical Issues,
which I was hesitating doing today. Inconsistent me

It has been complained about many times but nothing done about it. It is like
setting a percentage off, you can only have integer percentages off and not decimals.
I've been doing some informal testing to replicate and characterize this,
and there definitely is an issue.
There are combos that seem to work, e.g.
integer min with integer max (although I have tested combinations that fail)
float min with integer max
Integers are whole, natural counting numbers; and float is anything with a decimal
point.
I'll write up a ticket for the BrickLink engineering team to tackle and give
our QA team an opportunity to test this better. Sorry for the inconvenience,
but thanks for pointing this out!
