(Just an observation of an extremely nerdy detail. Feel free to ignore me.)

The additional note for 3039p34 states that there are two variations of the printed
pattern, and that the reason is a misprint. Now, a transfer print simply does
not get "misprinted" like that - the reversal must have happened in the
design. The reversed variant might have been created inadvertently, but then
it's a design error, not a misprint.

I can't tell for certain with the small sample I have available (my own parts
and the images on BL), but it appears that all the prints of one variant are
on parts from the old molds with intake on the side of the brick, while the other
variant is printed on newer parts made in molds with intake on one of the studs.

Concerning the similar note for 3039p23, however, that one is quite likely a
misprint due to swapping the red and yellow dyes. Those two dots are the only
red and yellow details in the pattern.

Hi,
The only 2 parts I have (1 Light Grey and 1 Blue) are like those on the left,
with the intake.

The print quality is better on the ones on the left too. I expect it is two
discrete parts, the old one and the later issue one.
