I've started having the same issue. No messages in spam. They just quit
coming. Is there not a fix?? Orders are very slow as well. I've only had
1 order this month and had 8 last month.

| It is very clear that Bricklink has issues with it's mailserver. For at least
6 months now we notice that both inward and outward invoices (buyer and seller)
often arrive delayed and clustered. This morning again we received several invoices
from purchases we made over the past couple of days. It's erratic, sometimes
there's no issue, sometimes the delay is about one day, but it can take almost
a week as well. At our side this only concerns invoices and not order confirmations.
And no, it's not a spam(filter) issue.
Needless to say that this is impacting the core Bricklink service. Buyers can't
pay if they don't receive an invoice and sellers don't understan why
buyers don't pay and send reminders (or duplicate invoices) that are sometimes
delayed as well.
Please, please Bricklink: get your act together since this has dragged along
for way too long!

Automated messages from Bricklink have been going to my spam folder (Gmail) over
the last few days... since I do not need to invoice though (instant checkout),
I cannot speak to whether Buyers are receiving invoices...

also send wanted notification for testing, received email.

Hi,
They may be blocked / discarded at the ISP / mail provider level: 90% of e-mails
are spam. Most are discarded by the servers and never reach mailboxes. The
rest is sent to the spam folders. “Normal” users only see 1% of the traffic.
For instance, free.fr used to ban about half of Microsoft servers on the US west
coast every other week. (Block a range of IPs for a few days because of spam,
then stop the ban, then stop them again a few days later.)
And that’s silent: the e-mails are discarded, not bounced or rejected, the sender
doesn’t get a failure message. (That treatment should only be for malformed
e-mails but when they all come from the same IP address….)
Free.fr doesn’t seem to do it any more¹. But that’s the kind of things that
can happen.
And there’s not much you can do as a user: generally you can only complain to
an ISP/mail-provider that an IP address / domain name is wrongly blocked if it’s
your IP address / domain name.
Still worth a try.

I was receiving emails up until two days ago. I thought I was just not getting
orders, but then I checked on BL and I had 5 and one of the parcels I had sent
out an invoice for was paid for as well.

I am having the same problem, been receiving emails till Saturday. 4PM was the
last email that I got from Bricklink. no problems before then and nothing going
to spam. Not sure whats up???
I need to get my emails so I know what orders were paid and so on.....

It's been a constant struggle for over a year with Microsoft O365 Outlook.
BrickLink is the only site impacted (and others are affected too). Nothing to
unblock. They eventually all come in sometimes a week later. It used to only
be invoices/orders that didn't come in. And recently messages weren't
coming in either (direct ones I think; the ones responded to an order I believe
worked).

No, You are not alone.
As of today I have not been receiving any emails from Bricklink. This has happened
to me before, several years ago.
No emails for a week then all the emails arrived at once.
This appears to be an intermittent bug that exists.

I had an invoice for one of the orders above be paid today (status changed, Paypal
received the payment) and didn't receive the copy of the invoice I usually
would when I issued it, and also haven't received the paid notification email
from Bricklink for it... Zero emails about this order at all!
Is Sylvain's suggestion above that we need to get our ISPs to do something
the "official Bricklink approved" suggestion to resolve this?
Can someone confirm that the missing emails are being properly sent by
Bricklink?
Is Bricklink receiving any error messages about them, like underliverable notifications

First, as a generaly rule, unless it’s about forum moderation, what I say isn’t
authoritative.
Second, I was just explaining that the problem may indeed be at the ISP / mail-provider
level… but not necessairyl ONLY at the ISP level: maybe (as 1001bricks says)
BL’s e-mails aren’t using all the options to make them look more legit to ISPs
/ mail-providers.
I also said that, as we are not BrickLink / as we don’t own the domain name and
the IP addresses, it’s very difficult to complain to the ISPs / mail-providers
that the domain name & IPs are legit and should be whitelisted.
So:
— it might be useful to talk to your ISP / mail-provider,
— but that’ll be difficult,
— and BL needs to clean its act too (do as 1001bricks says).

speculation - a reasonable conclusion to draw, but still a guess.

the IP addresses, it’s very difficult to complain to the ISPs / mail-providers
that the domain name & IPs are legit and should be whitelisted.
So:
— it might be useful to talk to your ISP / mail-provider,
— but that’ll be difficult,
— and BL needs to clean its act too (do as 1001bricks says).

Absolutely. If someone from BL could please take ownership of this issue on our
behalf, investigate possible root causes and suggest a solution, that would be
much appreciated!
A sales platform that can't notify its sellers (even if only a minority of
them) of sales - or other critical customer interactions - is sub-optimal to
say the least.

Yes, especially as I’m not a seller, so I don’t even have older e-mails to check
their well-formedness. I just have that experience with my ISP blocking a whole
range of Microsoft’s servers.
