I like to combine missing parts for my wanted lists into one. For example
I have multiple sets parted out into separate wanted lists, and I want to combine
all the missing parts into one list. Usually the default list. I like to do this
when going into a shop to get pieces. The way I do this is by selecting parts
and then copying them into another list. The problem is that it gives an error
when trying to add the same lot parts. For example two sets have technic pins
(a very common part) that I am missing. I can add the first sets pins to a new
list, but it will give me an error when trying to add the second sets pins because
the pins already exist in that list.
I think there should be a way to add instead of just copying. If I have
two sets with the same parts then I should be able to add the totals into a new
combined total.

There should also be folders for wanted lists. And also allow me to rearrange
the lists how I want instead of the 4 options given. Like if I want to move the
top list 4 spots down.

I am hoping for the same thing. How hard is it to see that current list has X
number, you want to copy in a list with Y number. Just add them! Don't tell
me that it's already there and you can't do math. For lists with 50-60
pieces, it's a pain to compare, increase the new list with the number from
the list you want to import. If I combine two lists and use that to buy too many
pieces, that's my fault. But i'm getting frustrated trying to combine
two large lists.

Yep, 7 years and still no simple way to combine or compare lists with the “new”
interface.

Now, in case you don’t know, there’s no need to combine lists to buy them: you
can buy multiple lists together by checking their boxes on the left pane of the
Buy page.
You can also pick individual items from different lists if you use the Wanted
Items tab (still on the left, see (2) in first pic here: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2445
).
