Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 9456 Name: Spinner Battle
*
9456-1 (Inv) Spinner Battle
399 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 10 Gear, 2012
Sets: NINJAGO: Rise of the Snakes: Spinners

* Add 1 Part 61406pb02 Dark Green Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Angular Extension with Molded Flexible Lime Tip Pattern

Comments from Submitter:
Color is wrong in parts list on Bricklink. Supposed to be dark green as shown in instruction booklet & instructions part list. Also show on Brickset as dark green not regular green. Part 471088 needs to be removed and replaced with 508036

Yep. Nice catch! I believe the green part does not even exist.

If so, we could use a better color image for that part. It is one of the old
80 x 60 thumbnails.

This change should be reverted. The person who uploaded that set’s inventory
also provided the existing photo for this part. Please add the Green/Lime multicombination
part as an alternate part.

This is the only 2012 Ninjago set I do not own, but I do own 9455. My copy came
with the Green/Lime variant. Oddly enough, this multicombination part does not
have an element number.

I have both of these sets as well and will look for them. I do agree that the
changes to the 2 sets should be reverted. There is enough evidence of the Green
part.

Or the one element number could apply to both versions of the part. In speaking
with internal LEGO folks at PAB and LEGO master data, they regularly point out
that we use the PCC (Element ID) differently than they do. They consider it to
be more of a "container box" than an identifier of a different shape
or color.

You mean like in the olden times, when they used set numbers the same way and
put anything they could find in the boxes

The rest of these 61406s have their own element numbers, so this one would have
to break a pattern that the others follow. The Dark Green/Lime combination part
is Multicombination 7. 8, 9 and 10 are all taken, so this “container box” rule
also applies to these 61406s, or this part is the result of a molding error that
found its way into sets.

I’ve also attached the photo that Turez requested. The Dark Green horn is from
dragon03 (2008).

Actually, I wanted to know how your part compares to both Dark Green and Green.
If it really matches (normal) Green, please go ahead and submit a request to
add it again to set 9455, and please submit a new image to the catalog.

I wouldn't trust the Multicombination numbers too much with these spikes:

4650624, 6138783, 6147259 are 6.Multi (26/26), while 6211778 is 6.Multi (24/24)
6253234 is 7.Multi (01/01) while 4658071 is... well, the 7.Multi green one being
discussed here.
6074624 is 8.Multi (141/106) while 6257848 is 8.Multi (151/151)

(For reference: 01 = white, 24 = yellow, 26 = black, 106 = orange, 141 = dark
green, 151 = sand green.)

Yep. Nice catch! I believe the green part does not even exist.

It definitely exists.

Can you provide another image of this part next to dark green and green parts?
In your image, it still looks darker than normal green. Could the brighter (dark)
green color be a factory mistake caused by the dual-molding process?
I could not find any evidence that this part was meant to be green.
