The two listings appear very similar other than the dimensions. The one I have
here measured thickness (using a caliper) is 86mm, which converts to 10.8 studs,
so presumably Case04.
Is there any other obvious differences ?
Someone just posted this morning about a red one, with a Samsonite imprimatur
on the lid inside. The one I have does not say Samsonite, but says LEGO SYSTEMS.
I wonder if the dimensional difference also correlates to where it was manufactured
(in which case the Catalog page might need to indicate that).
The impressions on the sides and bottom look different
The handles too. It's easier to see in the other images.
Actually, the more telling way to identify one vs the other is the indents on
the left and right side. The red one (pictured) has 10 indents and they come
almost up to the edge of the flap. The blue one (pictured) has 15 indents and
they do not come up close to the flap opening.
Mine is blue, but matches to the red one shown. So mine is definitively a Case04.
