Has anyone else been having issues with items being purchased but not coming
out of your inventory? I sent an email to the help desk but thought I would
see if this is an issue others were having?

No. Are you manually updating your inventory via the web interface, or using
an app, or XML files ?

I manually enter it, mostly parting out sets.

There's a double confirmation when parting out, did you go through both screens
when adding parts? Did you ensure that everything to be uploaded is selected,
with quantities verified?

Additionally, check your stockroom, see if the uploaded parts went there instead
of into your store inventory.

Cheers ...

How do you know items are not coming out of your inventory?
And not miscounted before the order was placed?

Just as an example: Wednesday night an order come in for an item. I had 4 on
hand. They ordered 3 and on my invoice it showed 3 ordered and 1 left in inventory.
Early Thursday morning another order came in for the same item same color and
it allowed 2 to be ordered and still showed I should have 1 in inventory. I
did not have the item listed twice.

On occasion we have shortages, but this week it is happening on about 40% of
the orders we receive. They are parts that we just recently sold. Can't
figure out why, been doing this for a long time and never had an issue like this.

Just to clarify the 40% I used is just the number of orders we seem to be having
an issue with. It may just be 1 item in a 100 lot order. The problem only seemed
to start this week.

So in this case you are short 2 pieces?

The 1 showing left in inventory is always updated to the current stock of the
part, even if the order was from Wednesday.

If you are noticing something that much try this, save as PDF all the orders
received as soon as you can for a week or so as soon as you get them. And then
if you notice an error of stock check the left quantity of the PDF you saved
from the previous order with the item and check against the PDF of the order
with the error.

That would tell you if the error was originally in your inventory or if the system
is not removing items due any bug.
