From 3022 there are 3 in dark gray and 8 of 2420 insted of 6 and 2
I ve adquire recently 3 of these items from an aqurate collector. Sets was keept for years and storaged in original boxes. 3 items shown the same mistake

Of the three alternate models that are built in the instructions, the maximum
number of
That is what the inventory currently shows, and it is probably why the original
numbers were changed.
However, the official LEGO set inventory data shows that 3x 3022 and 8x 2420
are included in the set (as your sets also suggest), and as I stated above, the
original inventory contained 3x 3022 and 8x 2420.
Does anyone know why the additional parts were included?

All of the data that I have available points to the set originally containing
The official LEGO inventory data shows it, a MISB inventory on Peeron shows it,
the original inventory here had it, and the sets acquired by the OP show it.
No information was ever found concerning why these additional parts were included
in the set and not shown to be used in any of the builds.
Unfortunately, the OP's change requests have the quantity numbers flipped
for the two parts, so the requests will not be accepted. However, the inventory
was updated to have the values stated above for the two parts.
