| The variations between A & B
Is the difference between the ends?
A: rounded edges
B: cut edges and hole on side
Or the Claw End and the Slope? Does the cut edge only have the hole, rounded
edge has no hole?
Or is there something else that I'm missing in the comparison?

Sorry about that. Yes, v1 is 48729a and v2 is 48729 Undetermined.

Actually, v1 is classified as
and both v2 and v3 are classified as
* | | 48729b Bar 1L with Clip Mechanical Claw - Cut Edges and Hole on Side
Parts: Bar |
There is now also a v4 that is listed under 48729b, too.
The admin team sees no reason to further differentiate such a common and ubiquitous
part beyond the first version which is not in System and the other three that
are.
