| Hello everyone! My name is Matt and my son and I just recently started our store!
We have a limited inventory at the moment but we are listing products daily.
We have a ton of new and used items that we still need to list. We haven't
had any orders come in yet but if anyone could help us out by giving us a chance
by ordering from us and leave us a good review to help us grow, it would be
greatly apprecited! Thanks in advance everyone!!!!
P.S. We will be adding more products to our store later today!!!

Welcome to bricklink!
You may want to update many parts of your terms as sellers are fully responsible
for making sure that packages arrive and if they are damaged/lost/stolen/etc
in the process you will have to refund them and if you don’t willingly do it
they can and often will file a PayPal or bank claim to get their money back and
then you’d get hit with a additional fee from PayPal. You can still charge for
insurance if you want but despite if a buyer buys it or not they still get it
via PayPal buyer protection which will get the money from you

for reference
"After the shipment has been made, the seller is no longer responsible for
damage that may be caused to the product(s) during shipment unless the buyer
purchased shipping insurance at checkout."
"If no insurance coverage is purchased, the buyer is responsible for replacing
damaged pieces."
"Damanged or missing parts must be reported within 14 days of package delivery
date. We will not honor claims made after this period." (buyers have 6-months
form date of payment)
and also for your protection i would not recommend this
"If no payment is received within 5 days after the invoice has been sent,
the purchase will be canceled." but rather as soon as you can go thru the
NPB process for unpaid orders and then canceled them that way which takes a bit
longer but protects you against any feedback they may leave

Your AboutMe page states that you are beginning by selling off the LEGO items
that your son no longer plays with. But I noticed that all of the Minifigures
you have listed are NEW. Your Store Terms doesn’t outline your approach to New
vs. Used items. So I’m wondering if these Minifigures are actually New, coming
from sealed bags and only handled for sorting and storage? Or were these something
your son had on display, played with once, etc? Thanks for clarifying this important
question for potential Buyers.

I need to update that. We have new and used. I wrote that about a week ago before
we bought any sets. We recently bought about 10 new sets (after our store was
approved). We were gonna start off by only selling his old legos but after sorting
through them, most of them weren’t in the best shape so we decided not to list
a majority of them. Everything that we listed that are his OLD LEGOS are listed
as used. I’m not sure if we listed any of his old mini figures. I would have
to check and see. He lives with his mom. He has LEGOS there and some at my house
we decided to only list the ones at my house because he has a cat at home and
I don’t want to have to wash everything do to a potential seller having a cat
allergy or something along those lines.
I just updated the terms and all of that today and I honestly forgot to update
the about me page so thank you for saying something!

I had a lawyer type out a quick and simple “terms and conditions” but I guess
I have some rearranging to do with where I posted everything. I noticed I have
it typed out on my splash page but not under the terms and conditions. Again,
this is all new to me so any help/advice is greatly appreciated!

are incomplete must be broken into parts and sold that way.

Thank you for the heads up! I did not know that but I’ve been going through my
inventory trying to edit my listings because when I uploaded some of my new stuff,
(along with used items of the exact same) some of the comments I wrote on my
“used items” were posted with my new. I thought I fixed them all but I must have
missed some. I appreciate the feed back! Again, this is all new to me which is
why I wanted to make a post so that others could help me with my errors!

Especially while you are small, the $5 fee for small orders may turn away many
buyers that might not come back. We charge $1 for under $5 orders and find that
it covers fees. Especially if you charge small orders $5.95 for shipping. Your
results may vary. Provided you are using a 3rd party shipping label you will
be making a profit there as well.
Just FYI: Some buyers are quite adamant that new figures should not be assembled.

Hi -
I don't mean to pile on, but your terms quote a price of 5.95 for shipping,
but when I try to create a cart the shipping fee is 6.95.
Additionally you offer an extra charge of 2.45 for $50 insurance but insurance
is now included in the cost with USPS Ground Advantage, which replaced the older
First Class Parcel service.
