Question about the Helmet Darth Vader - Chrome Black - SW0218

I bought a version, but the helmet doesn't really stick to the head. Seller
says this is how it should be because of the chrome mold. Can someone check is
this is really the case?

I don't have one any more, but if I remember right, those old helmet stud
holders that are shaped like ( ) always tended to get looser over time. The chrome
layer does add some thickness, so molds generally need to be adjusted to accommodate
the coating — but neither the inside of that helmet nor the figure's head
are chromed, so that shouldn't be the reason.

I just checked my chrome Darth Vader, and the helmet sticks to the head, but
the clutch power is very weak. I checked a regular Darth Vader helmet, and that
clutch power was stronger, but neither one was as strong as typical minifig headgear.

Also, the inside of the helmet from the chrome Vader does not have the chrome
plating.
