From General of the Resistance, Princess in exile, Lover to Han, Sister to Luke,
Mother to a dark son (Kylo Ren) and Hero of the Galaxy... Carrie Fisher made
the complex character work on-screen.
Always liked her as an actress. We’re about the same age and grew up not all
that far from one another. Although our neighborhoods and lives growing up could
not have been more divergent. Her in the privileged environment that fame and
fortune within the Hollywood Elite offers, and me dirt poor in the barrios of
East LA. Ironically, despite her privilege she might’ve had an "unsupervised"
childhood too.
Even looking back on the whole have-and-have-not contrasts, don't think I
would've swap childhoods with her if I could. I enjoyed my childhood, hard
knocks come in all forms
I understand the “Slave outfit scene” is popular, especially with young men,
who can blame them. But I enjoyed her Hoth Outfit scenes more. I mean who can
resist those buns! ~Talking about the hair, guys

I actually preferred the ewok village scenes where she had her long, flowing
hair down.

Especially with old men also, if not more.

True. But with us older men, it's not the crazed drive of our hormones as
much as an attempt to remember that strength of feeling

A good way to explain it.

| I figured this was what this was going to be about but I secretly hoped it was
about cinnamon buns.
Carrie rocked all styles.
