| I've visited my Orders Placed, and all orders which are older than 3 months
has been deleted.
How can I see my orders again ? I have checked my email but still can't find
any.

After 6 months exact order details are deleted but you can see some details here

They're usually deleted after 6 months, go to the Help Center, and open a
ticket with them. Perhaps you have a browser setting that is causing issues with
actually seeing the orders.
Note that filed orders less than 6 months old can also be viewed, you just have
to click on the link to view them.
Regarding the email, are you referring to the BrickLink messaging system? You
should find copies of your orders in there. If you had copies of the orders sent
to your email address, you should find them in your email client's mail system
somewhere.
Sometimes BrickLink orders aren't whitelisted and if your email provider
has a spam filter, it might have filtered the order emails out as spam. Check
your spam filter and ensure that the BrickLink address is whitelisted so it doesn't
go into the spam folder or get deleted by your email client.
Cheers ...

BrickLink purges order details after 6 months. It used to be to save server space
but now... who knows?
You can use the Download feature found at the bottom of your Orders Received
page to see a spreadsheet of the basic order information. (Just not the parts
list.)
However, BrickLink can't erase order confirmations from your email.

Note that the link isn’t there when the list is empty.
(Totally logical: not having recent orders means you aren’t interested in your
older orders, right?)

They could save server space by wiping quotes every 3 months, and accepted quotes
every 6, while keeping actual paid orders stored for at least 2 years; I can
still see my quotes from 2018...
|
Could be related to the age of the website and that it hasn't seriously changed.
Memory used to be expensive, now it is cheap. This site is made of spaghetti
code. Legacy of one person responsible for writing it by their self. Quotes
may still be there because they are a small fraction compared to actual orders.
Or maybe they just like it this way.

Mostly, I wish that BL would keep orders for one year.
The process of purging orders at 6 months also purges price guide data.
Keeping order details longer might make the Price Guide pages for Parts too big.
For example, one of the desktop computers I use for BL (running windows 11, but
a cheap retail model with limited memory) sometimes chokes when trying to load
price guide pages for certain items, especially those with extensive sales histories.
It would get seriously bogged down trying to load an entire year's worth
of sales of common parts with huge lists of sales data.
So, for those with older computers or those in places where they pay for internet
based on how much bandwidth is used (which used to be common in EU countries)
or for those that access BL via cellphones, an entire year of sales data might
not be a good thing.

I think the price guide data could be aggregated (it is an average after all)
so that it could be retained for a longer period of time. But six months isn't
bad.
