On June 2 I received a package of items that I ordered and upon reviewing the
items I found that one piece was incorrect, as in:
purchased:
 
Part No: 1884 Name: Minifigure Cape Cloth with Single Top Hole - Spongy Stretchable Fabric
* 		1884 Minifigure Cape Cloth with Single Top Hole - Spongy Stretchable Fabric
Parts: Minifigure, Body Wear {Black}
received:
 
Part No: 49527 Name: Minifigure Cape Cloth with Single Top Hole with Red and Black Sides - Spongy Stretchable Fabric
* 		49527 Minifigure Cape Cloth with Single Top Hole with Red and Black Sides - Spongy Stretchable Fabric
Parts: Minifigure, Body Wear
I guessed that it was an honest mistake but I have messaged them 4 times about
it (once directly to their E-mail) and still have gotten no reply and Bricklink
says that they have not even opened their message. How would you say I should
proceed?

NSS if they do not respond unless you are ok with accepting the wrong item. They
could be sick or out of touch or just ignoring it.

I really don't want to file an NSS because I think it's an honest mistake
and I hate leaving bad feedback, but we'll see.

You can cancel the NSS, later I believe, someone correct me if I am wrong, but
it might be the only way to get their attention.
