Hi All,
I lodged a request for a quote with a store in Indonesia for postage to Australia
and then accepted the quote. I went to pay and was given an error saying the
amount had changed and to go through checkout again.
Having accepted the quote and having a bonfide order ready to pay I don't
think I can do that again without adding more to my order.
Bricklink is adding taxes to the order as they've advised they are now doing.
I find myself wondering if they have an issue in the new system from the adding
of tax.
Any thoughts?
If I can't get this order then I've got issues with my MOC for an upcoming
display not to mention an issue as being seen as a non paying buyer.

This issue has come up before. I believe the solution was to have the seller
add a 0.01 credit to the order.

It would be really interesting to know the source of the issue in the first place,
so that BrickLink admins can prevent it from recurring.

Cheers ...

Agreed.
I suspect it might have something to do with how the taxes are calculated and
that the Quote process isn't fully supported... there might be a slightly
different outcome that's produced at the thousandth of a cent and rounding
does or doesn't happen in the same way. Could also be a bigger issue where
the source currency value 700,000 plus Indonesian rupees and then has the 10%
added... then it gets converted to USD... a few potential points of failure.
