The link I copy when sorting down by date added does not work.

The URL is https://store.bricklink.com/macebobo#/shop?o={%22sort%22:9,%22desc%22:1,%22pgSize%22:100,%22showHomeItems%22:0}

but the part after the question mark does not filter the results as expected.

I also tried to decode the %22 to " and no luck.

https://store.bricklink.com/macebobo#/shop?o={"sort":9,"desc":1,"pgSize":100,"showHomeItems":0}

Does anyone know how I can accomplish what I need?

Your first URL should work, but I can confirm it doesn't. File it as a bug
report. The dropdown controls don't interact with the URL parameters properly.
