Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 4822 Name: Princess' Bedroom
*
4822-1 (Inv) Princess' Bedroom
12 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 2005
Sets: DUPLO: Princess Castle

* Add 1 Part 42083 Black Duplo Lamp Post (Alternate) (match ID 3)
* Change 1 Part White 42083 Duplo Lamp Post {match ID 0 to 3}

Comments from Submitter:
I’ve owned this set since it came out and mine came with a black lamppost not a white one.
I contacted Lego when I opened it (way way way back in 2005) and the set was still in production. They couldn’t replace the black lamppost as they didn’t have any white ones and told me the white part was no longer in production. They sent me a LBG one instead
I mentioned the incorrect coloured part on the forum way back (and then obviously proceeded to forget about it!)
If you search online for images of the used set for sale. There are multiple images of it advertised with a black lamppost (plus the odd one with it in white)

Was this from a MISB set? If not, someone who can verify this would have to step
forward and state they opened a MISB set and found a black lamppost instead of
a white one.

Wow they really don't keep old stock around, huh? Except for that time they
released the bonus box, wow, that brings back memories:

Set No: 4679b Name: Super Value 500 LEGO Elements (Bonus box and its contents only)
*
4679b-1 Super Value 500 LEGO Elements (Bonus box and its contents only)
2004
Sets: Creator: Supplemental

Incorrect coloured, yet TLG still managed to use it for the set photo. As did
BrickLink.

Cheers ...

Yes, see below. I bought my little Girl all 3 brand new Duplo Princess castle
sets that came out that year. Some of the terrible images of the parts in those
sets are ones added by me.

I’m guessing not. I still remember the phone call to customer service when I
complained that black was an awful colour to add to the set instead of white
(hence me getting a LBG one sent to me)

There is the odd picture of the set assembled available online where the white
lamppost has been used, which is why I’ve requested black as the alternative.
