new to this so quick question

3747a vs. 3747B one has a circle on bottom, mine has more of a dash. the other
does not show the bottom. if its the dash which one should I be selecting?

A “dash” is considered a flat bottom pin, so what you’ll need to look at to decide
is the group of four hollow studs on top - are they all connected to make a kind
of square with one in each corner? That’s where the difference is. On 3747a they
don’t connect to each other (older version).

Other differences between these varieties are:
- the height of the tip
- the angle of the slope
- the size of the holes in the studs
