I was thinking about starting a store and was wondering if you need to make a
PayPal business account for it or is a personal account fine? Also in the case
that it needs a business account, is it recommended to make a new account with
new email or convert the personal to business. Also what are the side effects
with converting to a business account.

IMO, it is best to keep personal and business finances separate as it makes reconciling
account easier. Therefore, I recommend going with a business account. As for
side effects, I have no idea. I would also recommend separate emails.
