| The Hinge Brick 1 x 2 Base is known to have been made with a mold assembly error,
causing one or two of the side plates to be reversed. The resulting hinge
does not work, but it is a fun oddity that I would like to add to my collection
Please let me know if you have one or more available

| This error part has been reported in set
similar error bricks were produced years ago.

| I wouldn't mind afew lbg versions of this part, but only if they are capable
of a higher turn rate?

| I found one in desert skiff years ago. It was useless to me so I chucked it.

That must happen to a lot of them.
Get a replacement from customer service and throw away the defective part.
I just like to collect the oddities next to the useful parts.

I am especially looking for that variant!
I like all these oddities (in addition to lots of normal LEGO )
Hinge base 3937 - normal function impossible, the rotation is blocked.
Mast base 4844 - function change, it introduces a rotation (out of system).
Tap 6936 - no functional effect, it only looks different.
