| Hi everyone
Im relatively new to selling on Bricklink and my understanding is that leaving
genuine positive/negative feedback is the name of the game within this community.
After a recent sale I gave honest and positive feedback to the buyer, the buyer
who I have prompted 3 times via email to leave feedback has still not left feedback
on there purchase. They did reply via email to say thanks for the items, all
recieved and cobfirmed they was happy.
Is this common practice on here for buyers to not leave feedback?

Yes it is fairly common. It seems like half the time buyers don't even both
to change the status from shipped to completed.
Bricklink has a drive through option that you can thank your buyer for ordering.
You can also include a thank you packing slip that asks to leave feedback.
I think that is more than enough and wouldn't continue to email after to
leave.

happens all the time. In my experience 1 in 3 leave feedback

| most buyers (and sometimes sellers) never leave feedback or just leave it in
bunches every once in a while. you can look at some stores and compare their
feedback to how many orders they have and you will often see they have much less
feedback than the total amount of orders

I'm a new buyer; just did my first 4 orders from 4 different sellers.
Changed all statuses to "Completed" and sent all 4 positive feedback.
Only 1 feedback received.
From my little experience, this seems to be a common practice on both sides,
buyers and sellers

| You emailed the buyer 3 times asking for feedback? Not a good idea, you might
get feedback you don't like.

| I bet a fourth or fifth email will get you your feedback although you may not
be happy about it.

Yes, as others have indicated. You probably shouldn’t worry about it. Your feedback
looks great.
Just for your info, the person who appears to not have left feedback for you,
seems to never leave feedback for any sellers. So you shouldn’t worry. You
can see this by clicking on his/her feedback and then click at the bottom on
show me the feedback that he/she has left others. You can see that he/she buys
a lot but just doesn’t do feedback. So it is better for you to not send multiple
emails asking for feedback, especially to a buyer who never leaves it.

You can see if buyers leave feedback. The one called Luke has not left any feedback,
ever. It is unlikely he will.
If it is important to you, then you can stoplist the buyer so they cannot place
further orders with you and not leave feedback for those. Although they may
have already marked your store as least favourite due to excessive emails after
their purchase.

| Plan on getting feedback for about 55-60% of your orders. Some of the larger(est)
stores have between 75-85% but that leads me to hypothesize that current users
are less on top of it than 10-20 years ago when some of these stores were founded.
I bust my ass and spend a lot of time meticulously packing things (check feedbacks)
and despite the wow factor for many, I'm just hovering around 58% and I started
2 years ago.

Some sellers haven't even updated their feedback section of their store terms
and conditions. I've seen stores that say one has to give feedback after
the order has been shipped. I ignore those, I only will give feedback after I've
received the order and verified that what I ordered is in the parcel or package
I've received.
BrickLink recommends buyers give feedback after receiving and verifying the items
are what they should be. So, if your store's terms and conditions state otherwise,
perhaps you should consider updating them.
I've also had sellers that don't leave feedback for me. I don't worry
about it that much. If something is wrong with the order I deal with it when
I need to.
Just my 2c worth.
