I have found the item
 
Part No: 60750 Name: Minifigure Beard, Tied with Hair in Back
* 		60750 Minifigure Beard, Tied with Hair in Back
Parts: Minifigure, Body Wear {Dark Orange}
in a huge lot of mostly genuine Lego. It doesn't
have "Lego" on the item (neither inside or outside). Does anyone know
if this item should have it?

This is what mine looks like. No Lego logo and it is genuine.

Thanks Cass for the picture. Mine looks exactly the same, so it must be genuine.
I asked especially since it "felt a bit off"
