doesn't a Slope face upwards, while an Arch faces Downwards...?

i.e. "you walk UP the slope of a hill to view & look up to see the arch holding
up the bridge"

from some of the sets i see that part in, it's upward an upward facing slope.

right?


Concave curves on BrickLink are inverted arches. Convex curves are curved slopes.
