I think it would be great to see what items are drawing the most attention to
my store based on views. Currently, there is no way of knowing what your buyers
are looking at, only the storewide view numbers. So I think a store analytics
page would be super.

Yes, no.
Of course tools would be nice.

But the ultimate tool is your knowledge of the market, and it takes time, time
and sure a bit of work to comprehend.

Otherwise stats based on the last 6 months will tell you Christmas trees for
sure sell well... but what if it's July? And what about new trends that will
change everything? SW, Heroes, Indiana Jones?

And it's a question of budget and opportunity also - you could buy 1M$ of
bricks, or 10 grands of Minifigures parts, or a couple of Friends Sets... but
why not some Technic?

I'm afraid there's no tool for this.
Apart maybe being able to invest money per M$s (and supposing you can afford
to lose it).

My friend chatGPT answered this:

As a seller of LEGO parts, it would be wise to have a variety of popular and
versatile parts and colors in stock to cater to a broad range of customers. Here
are some suggestions based on their high demand:

Basic bricks: Classic 2x4 and 2x2 bricks in colors such as white, black,
red, blue, and yellow are always in high demand.

Plates: Basic plates such as 1x2, 2x2, and 2x4 in white, black, and gray
are popular for building foundations and walls.

Tiles: Smooth tiles in various sizes such as 1x1, 1x2, and 2x2 in white,
black, gray, and tan are popular for creating mosaics and smooth surfaces.

Slopes: Slopes in various angles and sizes, such as 1x2, 2x2, and 2x4 in
white, black, and gray, are popular for creating roofs and hills.

Technic parts: Basic Technic parts such as axles, pins, and beams in black
and gray are popular for creating moving mechanisms.

Minifigures accessories: Popular accessories include weapons, helmets, and
capes in various colors.

Transparent parts: Transparent bricks and plates are popular for creating
windows and water elements.

Remember to also keep an eye on trends and new LEGO sets that are released, as
this can influence the demand for specific parts and colors.

Frankly? It's a good ultra generic reply.

I think it's a wonderful tool. Of course, like any tool it has to be learnt
and used adequately. Right now it's the first days of it, so everything is
a nail for this hammer

You can easily look at a more important type of item - what sells in your store.
You know this because they are the parts in orders.

Of course, buyers might be attracted by some items and then order different ones.
But you don't need to add more of the former, as you still have them in the
store. The ones that sell are the ones that need replenishing.

There is also the possibility of buyers abandoning carts and you not knowing
why. This could be down to the range of parts offered but can also be down to
other issues - high postage costs, paypal fees, etc.
