First post here. My apologies if it’s not protocol.

Trying to MOC a new x-wing. During initial build I used a “snowspeeder” listed
canopy and it fit fine. No issues.

I then had time to change the “snowspeeder” canopy to the “x-wing” one. It didn’t
fit. It would not close. They are apparently the same piece with a different
print, but when I look closely, the “tooth connectors” on the x-wing seem angled
slightly higher and so will not allow the cockpit to close.

Any thoughts? I’ve tried with several different pieces with the same result.

Again, sorry if I’m not being clear enough or this isn’t following protocol.
I will learn.

Thank you!

What are the 2 part numbers you are talking about?

Hi and welcome

You post seems okay to me.

You’re talking about different patterns on

Or is it a mix of the former and

Are you certain that your first 'snowspeeder' part wasn't warped
or damaged?
