| Apologies if this is explained elsewhere, but I could not find the answer.
Currently, I am using the "My Remarks" field to indicate my inventory
location i.e. B01D01.
When I begin to part out a kit, on step 2 where it lists the parts, if I have
that part already in inventory, there is a link to "view store inventory
detail". I can click this to see the existing "my remarks" to see
where that piece is currently stored in my inventory, but it would save me a
ton of time to see that right on step 2 of the part-out process. Is this possible?
Thank you!

There's asoftware called Brickstore, you can get it herehttps://brickforge.de/brickstore/
Very good mangagment tool. You can download you store inventory and merge the
data from that onto the file you're parting out. It's a bit of a learning
curve, I suggest looking up youtube tutorials on it, but it makes everything
go smoother and you can save offline copies of your inventory
